ROBIN'S MISSION
Born in Montreal, Robin began her artistic journey at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts School of Art and Design and Dawson College, later earning a B.A. from the University of Waterloo.
Further study with celebrated American painters John Kilroy, Diane Scott, and Liz Haywood-Sullivan deepened her mastery of pastel and acrylic, shaping a distinctive style rooted in both technical skill and emotional resonance.
Her paintings have been featured in numerous juried exhibitions, earning multiple awards and finding their place in collections across Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean. Each work reflects a lifelong devotion to the natural world and the varied landscapes she has called home.
Drawn to the shifting language of light and shadow, Robin weaves texture, form, and colour into visual narratives that invite the viewer to linger.
Her art is as much about mood as it is about subject—capturing not only what is seen, but what is felt.
A garden designer as well as a painter, she sees the two practices as parallel forms of creation. Whether cultivating a garden or shaping a canvas, she works with rhythm, balance, and harmony, crafting spaces—real or imagined—that evoke beauty, connection, and a quiet sense of belonging.
