I was born in Montreal where I studied at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts School of Art and Design and Dawson College. I received a B.A. from the University of Waterloo. I have taken classes with notable painters in the USA including John KIlroy, Diane Scott and Liz Haywood Sullivan.
My work has been in many juried shows, and I have won several awards and prizes over the years for my pastel and acrylic paintings. My art work hangs in many offices and residences in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean.
Inspiration for paintings comes from my love of nature from the many beautiful places I have lived. Light and dark, shape and texture, line and colour all work to intrigue and inspire me in my pursuit of expressing my feelings on canvas and paper. I am a garden designer as well ,and feel art and gardening complimnet one another both in the two dimensional and three dimensional space.
